We are very thankful to have Codilynn in our lives. She is a shining light that has transformed our home and hearts. Codilynn is a full sister to Carolina Grace. Unfortunately, Codilynn came to us from a challenging and troubled background and our journey together has been nothing short of miraculous. When we brought Codilynn into our home, she was just two years old and an alarming 20 pounds underweight. She wandered in with a timid spirit, having never known the comfort of a loving environment or even the sound of her own name. We named her Codilynn, and she learned it in only two days. We welcomed her and met her exactly where she was. Slowly, sometimes agonizingly so, we built trust. Her spirit has awakened as she’s settled into her new life. Now, thanks to the care and attention she has received, she has packed on some healthy pounds and her sweet southern charm is shining through. Despite her rocky start, we have no doubt that this incredible girl will earn titles of her own as her bloodline is one from which champions are made. Each day, we see her gaining confidence and strength, yet the path has not been without its challenges. The hurdles we face on her journey to becoming the amazing dog she is meant to be are, unfortunately, rooted in the past trauma she experienced due to a particularly irresponsible and thoughtless human. Nonetheless, we are wholeheartedly dedicated to supporting Codilynn as she continues to evolve, flourish, and embrace the love and promise that surrounds her now. Her story is a testament to resilience and the transformative power of love, and we look forward to watching her shine as she blossoms into the remarkable companion she is destined to be.

Cacie is our beautiful pepper and salt, soft-coated female who truly represents the heart of Copper Cottage Canines. Her striking coloration and elegant structure make her a standout wherever she goes. Intelligent, affectionate, and highly motivated, Cacie brings both beauty and balance to our program.

She approaches every task with enthusiasm and focus, showing a strong desire to work for reward, whether it be food, toys, or affection. Her willingness to learn and natural trainability make her an absolute joy to handle, and her accomplishments speak to her temperament and ability. Cacie has successfully earned her Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Canine Good Citizen Advanced (CGCA), Canine Good Citizen Urban (CGCU), and BH title in IGP.

Beyond her achievements, Cacie has been a devoted and attentive mother to two litters. We are proud to note that five of her offspring have gone on to become—or are currently training to become—service dogs, a true reflection of her sound mind, steady nerves, and exceptional genetics.

Now enjoying her time as the matriarch of our kennel here in Alabama, Cacie continues to embody the qualities we value most in our breeding program: intelligence, temperament, and the genuine devotion that defines the Giant Schnauzer breed. Her daughter now carries on her legacy as our next pepper-salt representative in IGP.
